Important Virus Warning - 8.9m machines possibly infected according to experts
A malicious and very ‘contagious' new computer virus known as ‘Conficker' has recently started spreading rapidly throughout the Internet and hitting the headlines, with businesses particularly susceptible. The virus was first identified in October 2008 but has only very recently become a serious problem. As a result CNS are reviewing the patch status of all customer servers and security appliances, and scanning for the presence of the virus.
CNS security expert, Mark Edwards, has advised network users to take care when downloading files to PC's and ensure that server and PC anti virus software is up to date and running.
