The CNS team excels with a 6th place in the Cardiff 10k race
It has been months in the preparation, but finally our running team did us proud with a 6th place result in the Kidney Wales Cardiff 10k race on Sunday 11th September.
"We knew that we stood a good chance of completing the race in fairly decent times as we are all runners but to come in 6th out of a possible 104 teams was outstanding," commented Mark Edwards, Technical Director, Capital Network Solutions Limited and team captain.
Although I am sure that there will be a few aches and pains today, we are really proud that we put up such a good fight against the other teams including Exert Fitness, Legal and General and S A Brain.
"I would like to thank our staff and customers, in particular Admiral Group, Newydd Housing, BT, Castle Hotel, Neath and the Environment Agency for providing such excellent runners," added Mark.
This is the first time that we have entered a team having competed in the Cardiff 10k individually in the past, however, we have set ourselves a goal next year to beat our position next year. Better start training now then......
