It's a double success for Capital Network Solutions as they are announced as finalists in not one but two categories at the upcoming Wales Technology Awards 2018 powered by the ESTnet which culminates in an Awards Ceremony on 3rd May at City Hall, Cardiff.
Sarah Edwards, Managing Director has been shorlisted as a Finalist in the Technology Leader of the Year Category and Callen Gibbs, a member of the cyber security team has been shortlisted in the Best New Talent Award Category.
This year there were a record number of entries which the panel of judges had to evaluate, making the achievement of reaching the final all that more special.
The previous year for CNS has seen significant achievement and growth. In 2017 CNS were awarded the prestigious title of The Welsh Government Responsible Small Business of the Year in recognition of the increasing number of responsible business practices that CNS have implemented and developed.
The last year has also seen the cyber security double in size, including the appointment of two female engineers which is a first in CNS history. Sarah was very instrumental in attracting female talent into the business which is traditionally a very male dominated role.
Callen has been a significant member of the cyber security team and has been instrumental in the development of a new cutting edge services such as phishing campaigns designed to increase staff awareness and reduce the impact of phishing attacks on business. He has also been lucky to benefit from advanced Penetration Testing Training qualifying him as a Tigerscheme QSTM Penetration Tester.
Best of luck to our Finalists and we very much look forward to supporting them at the Ceremony on 3rd May 2018.
