IASME Certification Body, Capital Network Solutions (CNS), reached a significant certification milestone this month. Cardiff based CNS became an IASME Certification Body in November 2014 and have been actively delivering IASME Governance, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications ever since.
Today, CNS awarded their 3000th certification. Commenting on this achievement, Karl Greenfield, Head of Cyber Security at CNS commented, “From the beginning we saw Cyber Essentials and IASME Governance as the first and most effective steps for all organizations to take to improve business resilience against the cyber threat, particularly the automatic attacks presently succeeding on an unprecedented scale. As the NCSC (GCHQ) backed UK-initiated scheme, with its "MOT style" approach to cyber defence is now leading globally; we hope it won’t be too long before we’re able to report on our 4000th certification!”
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government certification which allows businesses to demonstrate to their customers, suppliers, investors and insurers that they have implemented essential security controls to manage their cyber risk. Cyber Essentials can reduce your risk of attack by up to 80%.
Cyber Essentials is also a great first step in helping businesses to achieve GDPR compliance which came into force on May 25 2018.
